Prep Time: 8-12 hours hour (includes setting time) Cook Time: 15 minutes Yield: 6-8 servings

INGREDIENTS

  • 48 saltine crackers

  • 1 cup butter

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 cups milk chocolate, chopped

  • 1/4 - 1/3 cup peanut butter

  • Sprinkles

  2. In a saucepot, heat up the the butter and brown sugar over medium heat until the butter is completely melted. Allow the mixture to come to a bubble, and then let it gently bubble for 3-5 minutes (try not to let it boil rapidly for more than 30 seconds). Stir in the vanilla extract and remove from heat.

  3. Pour the hot caramel mixture over the crackers, and spread evenly. Bake at for 5 minutes, then sprinkle the milk chocolate over it. Allow it to sit for 2-3 minutes, until the chocolate has melted, then spread the chocolate evenly all over the crackers.

  4. Microwave the peanut butter for 30 seconds, then drizzle it all over the chocolate. Top with sprinkles and sea salt.

  5. Allow the chocolate and caramel to set completely, then keep in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours.

  6. Once the crack has hardened and set completely, crack it into bite sized pieces. Enjoy!
